Hilary Walker

Hilary Walker joined the Kidz Klub House family in 1999, originally as an infant room teacher.  Once Hilary started working in early childhood education, she discovered her love for watching young minds grow and flourish, and it was at this point when she knew working with children was her calling in life.  After coming to this realization, Hilary changed her major and completed her degree in the Care and Development of Young Children.  In 2003, Hilary and her husband, Chuck, purchased Kidz Klub House in Slidell.  Shortly after the purchase Chuck and Hilary orchestrated a massive expansion to the original building to include four large classrooms, a café for student dining, and a large gymnasium for indoor large motor development play.  This expansion allowed Kidz Klub House to provide exceptional care for even more children and families of Slidell.

With the original Kidz Klub House success, winning many awards for best child care center and tremendous public need, over the years Hilary opened three additional Kidz Klub House centers in Mandeville, Madisonville and Franklinton.  Hilary also purchased two existing child care centers in Slidell, Charlotte’s Web Preschool in 2017 and Honeycomb Preschool in 2019.  In 2021 Hilary was featured on the cover of Sophisticated Woman magazine which spotlights exceptional women in business.  The cover story highlighted Hilary as St. Tammany Parish’s largest child care and preschool provider as well as the largest privately owned employer in St. Tammany Parish.  

Hilary lives in Madisonville, LA with her husband Chuck, her dog Lacy, and their three children; Maddie, Fritz, and Allie.  Her oldest, Maddie is married to Codey Miller and they have a son, Miles.  They reside in Covington. Hilary enjoys working out, reading, relaxing, and spending quality time with her family.
